Michael Jackson's Female Guitarist

Orianthi, Michael Jackson's female guitarist of late is soaring high in the media these days especially on the web! She is definitely a smoking rock guitarist, and at her young age even more so.

Orianthi Panagaris, is a also a big Steve Vai fan, and has been opening up for him as she also has her own records out now. Her first support show was for Steve Vai at age 15. I admire not only her guitar skills but the fact that she's making a pretty big splash in the music business.

I was a big Van Halen fan in the 80's and my band covered a lot of there songs, so of coarse we ended up doing Beat It as well I would like to give a plug for Jennifer Batten in case you all forgot who paved the way for Orianthi! Originally Michael Jackson's female guitarist.

I became acquainted with her in Portland, Or. at a club I used to play there and come to find out she owned a home in that neighborhood. Jennifer Batten - Michael Jackson's guitarist for 3 World Tours including a half-time performance which aired to a record 1.5 billion viewers in 80 nations. Later she became Jeff Beck's guitarist as well.

Have you ever heard of Michael Jackson's chimp bubbles? During the 80s Michael was known for having a pet chimpanzee called "bubbles". Bubbles became as much a part of Michael's persona as the glove and the moonwalk. Bubbles was given full access to the Neverland ranch, he was even allowed to use Michael Jackson's own private bathroom.

I wonder if Orianthi or Jennifer was treated that well. Anyways they can sure both play the hell out of the guitar! At 24 years old, Orianthi has already experienced what most aspiring musicians only dream of. She's opened for her hero (Steve Vai), backed an Idol (Carrie Underwood), traded solos with a legend (Carlos Santana) and shared the stage with the king of pop (Michael Jackson).

Michael Jackson's female guitarist at the end was, Orianthi Panagaris (born January 22, 1985) in Adelaide, South Australia, of Greek descent. Orianthi has played with Prince, made a video clip for Panasonic HD, had a song featured in Bratz: The Movie, played at the Eric Clapton Crossroads Guitar Festival, appeared in The New York Times business section promoting Eco-friendly acoustic guitars.
