When a hit song by the late Michael Jackson, like "Rock With You", plays in local clubs, partygoers react with mixed emotions. Although the legendary entertainer passed over two months ago, fans continue to mourn his loss and the media delves deeper into the circumstances of his controversial death.

In light of the public reaction, Unity and Trevor of the Oakland Hip Hop group, Napalm Clique, have collaborated to produce a stunning music video in tribute to the fallen star. In a video masterpiece created to "keep Michael Shining", viewers will enjoy a moonwalk through the wildly creative life of MJ.

Entitled Shining, the music video effectively preserves Michael's integrity while carrying on his legacy. Trevor, who is also the Founder of Eklectyk Creative Media, directed and edited the video. Additionally, he appears in the video as a lyricist, revealing that he was a loyal fan of Jackson as a child. As he says in his verse, "And now I'm watching music videos and know what to do / Keep inspiring the youth, 'cause you inspired me to."

Unity and Trevor acknowledge Michael Jackson's influence on fashion and style by appearing in a variety of his classic videos wearing replicas of his most memorable outfits. Unity, who produced the song and is set to release his new album Audio Veve, wears numerous costumes that are reminiscent of Jackson's earliest videos.

Overall, the video clips in Shining illustrate MJ's perseverance in finding privacy and peace as one of the world's most famous black entertainers. It even includes audio excerpts from venerable Rev. Al Sharpton's eulogy at Jackson's memorial ceremony. "Thank you because you never stopped. Thank you because you never gave up," echoes Sharpton in regards to Jackson as clips from his beloved videos shutter by.

Indeed, it's no surprise that Napalm Clique made a video about the influence of a black public figure on popular culture and world history. Shining premieres as their third consecutive music video highlighting African-African leaders. In fact, the first of the trio, entitled Revolution, won three film festival awards, including Best Music Video at the Hollywood Black Film Festival. Napalm Clique's second video supporting Barack Obama, called We Need A President, also earned Best Music Video at the 2008 Vote Hip Hop Awards.

The Premiere Party for Shining will be held on August 28, the eve of Jackson's birthday. Attendees will get a chance to view the video on a massive screen as they rock out to a 90's party at Madrone Lounge in San Francisco.

Ultimately, Shining serves as a brilliant reminder to honor Michael Jackson because, as Unity professes, "the man's what you call a legend, we should never forget it."
