Michael Jackson was one of the great entertainers of our era and we are lucky to have lived in the time period, where he graced us with his presence. Apparently, the city of Los Angeles was concerned with the amount of money they spent with police, road blocks, and services during the Michael Jackson funeral. The cost to the city was about three or million and the mayor of Los Angeles said that they would cover it.

Unfortunately, the city of Los Angeles is cutting their budget rapidly due to the recession and the Low sales tax revenue, therefore, even though they are going to foot the bill, they really can't afford it, as they are currently laying people off. So that money that went towards Michael Jackson's funeral and city services around the giant Staples Stadium, means that somebody, actually many people will lose their jobs to make up the difference.
